November 2016 Book of the Month & Giveaway

Between the busyness of the holiday season and the mad last-month dash to get my newest book ready for publication, I fell behind on my blogging. In order to catch up, that means that I’ll be bringing you two Book of the Month giveaways this month, one for November and one for December.
My favorite read for November was the second book in a wildly popular erotic romance series. If you’ve been following my blog, you’ll know that earlier last year, I absolutely fell in love with book #1 of the series and couldn’t wait to continue. To draw out the fun, I managed to wait two months before picking up book #2 and ended up loving it every bit as much as the first, maybe even more. I’ve found these books to be deeply romantic and emotionally complex in ways that many other romances aren’t. The characterizations are extremely well done, exhibiting depth and complexity as well. The hero and heroine each go through a fair bit of growth in this book, learning to compromise with each other in their relationship, while also dealing with some very stressful situations caused by external factors. Yet they always come out stronger as a couple in the end.
I love Christian for his ability to express his vulnerabilities, to move beyond his dark past and into a brighter future, opening his heart to a once-in-a-lifetime love. I love Anastasia for her patience with her beloved Fifty, her willingness to compromise, and her courage in standing up to those who would try to jeopardize their relationship. This is a beautiful love story about two people, one who’s deeply broken but trying to find his way out of the dark, and the other who is completely accepting of him, flaws and all, coming together and figuring out what the future holds for them. The ending these two share in this book is swoon-worthy romance at its best. I couldn’t have written a more perfect and wonderful romance if I tried. I’m completely enamored of both Christian and Ana and can’t wait to see how this journey ends for them. That’s why I'm naming E. L. James’s Fifty Shades Darker as my November Book of the Month. If you enjoy heart-stopping love stories filled with sizzling hot erotic love scenes then you should definitely give this book a try.
